Summer training Camp
El Colorado, Chile
22nd July - 18th August 2024
​Ski on winter snow in the summer holidays!
We're excited to be heading back to the Southern Hemisphere this year with an amazing trip to El Colorado in Chile.
​
In collaboration with APR ski team, this is a fantastic chance to ski long days on real winter snow in the height of summer, with great opportunities for FIS racers to get some early season points on the smaller race fields of South America.
​
With recovery days exploring the city and surfing at the beach, this is an all-round, experience of a lifetime trip!
Camp Itinerary
22nd July - fly London to Santiago
23rd - arrive in Santiago, get a transfer to El Colorado
24th - 4th August - training and free skiing in El Colorado
4th - 6th August - low - altitude recovery weekend at the beach and exploring Valparaiso.
7th - 17th - training, free skiing, races.
There will be FIS races (2 GS races and 2 SL) planned in El Colorado and La Parva in late July -
approx. 27th - 31st. Dates are still to be confirmed but it highly likely they will happen. There may also be other races added later in the trip too.

Travel
We have requested flights with a travel agent flying out on the 21 st July from London
Heathrow and returning on the 18th August. These are currently looking at £1050 return
(with one bag) but the price will be confirmed once we have the flights on hold.

We highly recommend doing the full camp, and can only accompany and organise onward for the full camp dates. Travel within this time frame must be organised completely independently.
​
Leaving early IS possible - however transfers to the airport are not easy to arrange.
