CDC Ski Club Complaints and Disciplinary Procedure

1. The following procedure will be followed if there is any breach of the Athletes Code of Conduct or unacceptable behaviour: Verbal warning or alternative task. Withdrawal of privileges. Written warning and/or telephone call to parents. Sending home at parental expense. The sanctions, will depend on the type and seriousness of the breach or behaviour, will be clearly explained to the Athlete(s) involved and will include any one or more of the above.

2. In the event of a serious breach of the Athletes Code of Conduct a disciplinary hearing will be held as soon as possible after the alleged offence has occurred or comes to the knowledge of the Coaches or House Parents on the camp. The disciplinary hearing will be attended by the Athlete(s) involved, either individually or together as appropriate, and at least two members of the CDC Ski Club staff and/or Coaches. Any witnesses will be heard separately, if appropriate. A parent/carer of the Athlete(s) will be contacted and informed if it is feasible or practical.

A written record of the disciplinary hearing and the sanctions imposed will be kept and signed by a member of the CDC Staff on the Camp.
