WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Chatham Banner slope photo.jpg

"Our 3 children have skied and raced with CDC for many rewarding years.

From the very first camp 6 years ago, Chem and Dougie have been a constant source of energy, confidence and inspiration for all of the children, not only through the passion that they bring to coaching in the mountains but also off the snow, fostering their development not just as ski racers but as all rounded athletes and individuals.

They focus on every individual athlete, whatever level they are skiing at, and encourage everyone to set their own goals and to build on the positives.

Although ski racing is an individual sport, CDC have built an incredible team ethos supported by a fantastic and dedicated group of coaches.

Above all, the children have always had fun, no matter what level they have been racing at, resulting in them reaching their full potential on the snow."

"As a former racer, I suspected that my 11 year old son would receive the best training at CDC.

I was not disappointed.

The coaching is of the highest professionalism, but carried out with such positivity, support and genuine care, that a hard days training becomes an enjoyable experience. And that’s before the fun filled after ski activities begin (e.g. sky diving in NZ!).

Over the last 5 years, there has been much success, but far more important has been the way disappointments have been handled compassionately and turned into learning experiences.

CDC feels like one big family during these difficult emotional times, and I am so grateful for the influence Chemmy and Dougie have had in developing my son into a passionate, respectful and resilient young man."

"We have been using CDC Performance for about 3 years now to coach our son Ben.

We started with some dry slope private lessons with Chemmy and in a very short period of time Ben’s skiing improved dramatically.

He has been on a number of snow camps with CDC in various different locations in Europe and he always enjoys them enormously and he seems to improve each time.

He also does group dry slope training with CDC on a regular basis. I have been very impressed by the quality of coaches they use and both Chemmy and Dougie’s enthusiasm and positivity.

Most importantly their approach to each athlete is unique. The last time the British Interschools was held at Pila, seems an age ago, Ben was skiing with his school and not CDC and as soon as Chemmy spotted Ben before the start she came over to him and gave impromptu instant advice.

I can’t recommend CDC highly enough."
