October Half Term Training Camp

Join us in Hintertux for our October half term training camp, with a great variety of terrain and guaranteed snow!
A fantastic and essential camp to make technical improvements, test equipment and get a big volume of skiing in before the winter begins.

Athletes can develop their tactics and improve their foundation technique so that by Christmas they are ready to transition these skills into intense race training and races! It is also a fantastic week open to new skiers to join us and feel how it is to be part of the CDC family.
Camp Duration
Week 1 - 17th- 24th October- 7 days skiing
Week 2 - 24th - 31st October- 6 days skiing (Home in time for Halloween!)
Suitable for FIS, Children & minis
U10 and above. As per usual all minis must be accompanied by an adult and can join on a per day basis/outlier.

Accommodation
We will be staying at the Hotel Apartments Dorfplatz. They provide an excellent set up designed for ski teams that worked really well last year. Places at the hotel are limited so please book ahead if you would like to stay with the team noting that the lift is a 15 minute drive from the hotel so having your own transport is advisable if staying at the Dorfplatz as an outlier.
Cost
Inliers Week 1 camp 17th-24th - £1800 (7 days skiing)
Inliers Week 2 camp 24th-31st - £1700 (6 days skiing)
Inliers 2 week camp - £3400 (13 days skiing)
Inlier includes accommodation, meals, lift pass, coaching, video, fitness, transport from airport to resort and in resort, pastoral care.
Outliers - £110 per person per day.
Outlier cost includes ski coaching, video analysis, fitness. Lunch, lift pass and accommodation not included.

Luggage
Please book in all luggage in at the time of booking.

Easyjet: note that ski helmets and boots can no longer be attached the outside of cabin bags. They must fit inside. The max weight for a ski bag is 21kg and for a standard hold bag 23kg. Any standard under-seat cabin bag must adhere to the Easyjet dimensions or a fee will be charged at the departure gate. Please ensure you have booked sufficient luggage.

Lufthansa: Book your flight and standard hold luggage. Once booking is completed, go back in to your booking to add sports equipment using your booking ref number if you are bringing your own skis and boots. This must be done at least 72 hours before departure. Do not just add additional bags when purchasing the ticket - ski equpiment must be added specifically as that otherwise you will be made to pay again at the airport and also risk them saying they don't have room for the equipment

Ski Testing
In Hintertux we have a good association with Insider Sports and will have an opportunity to try different skis if you are looking to buy equipment. They give us a good discount on everything in the shop and have a great range of kit. Discount varies from 15% up to about 40% on some skis as well as sometimes an option to buy used skis at a reduced price.
