THE MOUNTAIN:
The hill offers us multiple training options including a quiet glacier (but not overly high so no issue for altitude sickness) hence we will be guaranteed good snow. The snow has been coming recently in abundance in many areas of Switzerland (you may have seen the women's World Cup in St Moritz was cancelled because of 2 metres of new snow!) The canton of Vaud might have only got 50cm but this is now packed in and has made a great, firm base for training.
The other amazing news is that parents will be allowed to ski.
